Some News…

Samples of my own Fine Art Nudes.. that you can find inside right now

I’m not just a photographer.. I’ve LONG been yearning for Print Publication of my literary works and as such, I decided to delve in to the publishing world and learn what I had to learn.. especially if I was gonna publish my novel.. my way.. on my own. It’s been a long journey.. and a few years ago my novel did get printed.. and I’m starting to market it now (long and sordid story.. that I’ll save for another day).

Back in the Day, I used to publish an Arts and Entertainment magazine in the Okanagan.. and I loved that. It was amazing. I had so much fun! Sure, it was stressful but it was good stress.. not like right now 😉 

Anyhow.. I’m launching ALTPHOTOART, the magazine!

The magazine will be FREE to paid members, available as a GOOGLE DOC. It will, also, be ported out as a PDF and sold through one of many different PDF Magazine Sales platforms (link(s) will be provided shortly) AND it’ll be available as a Print On Demand magazine. It’s gonna ROCK… it’ll share content with Savage Progress (some) but it’ll have it’s own content as well.. and it will be featuring Art, Artists, Models, and other considerations pertinent to Fine Art Nude photography. It’s where I’ve wanted to be since launching Altphotoart.. and it’s gonna be awesome!

Teel’s Second Print Collection

One of my all time fave models.. I loved working with Teel no matter if she was clothed or fully naked. A great person and a great experience, always. As I was going through the images and cleaning them up (removing the spottiness mostly.. dust from scanning as these are~ all~ film based images) not only was I yearning to get back to Vancouver but I noticed.. the floor was amazingly dirty! That house was impossible to keep clean and just as I thought it was clean.. our roommate would do something unbelievably idiotic and it’d be a disaster. He was a disaster.. and the import room mate was a disaster.. we lasted about 6 months in that space before we moved to the West End.. to a cute studio apt. a block away from English Bay.. oh, to be living there again… *sigh*

Anyhow.. there’s almost 100 images of Teel on the couch and in the space. Topless.. dressed.. topless.. great images and~ as I said~ a great session. Now, to work on cleaning up her third print collection (and there’ll be a bit from Sparklefaerie in that one.. some black and white scans).

Kadence and the Kestrel

I was SO psyched to find a Kestrel A) in my size and B) at an affordable price.. I’ve always lived near or below the break even so there are a couple bikes that have always been on my radar.. Kestrel being one of them. Ordered it.. put it together myself (as I used to be a bike mechanic.. once upon a youngling time) and then Kadence swung by for a cool photo sess.. proof of concept/ work up of ideas.

The gallery opens with a multiple exposure over several frames that sees Kadence pitted with my bikes.. and my boat. The boat that has, now, grown to 22′ in length and might grow to closer to 24′ by the time the cabin is added.. and she’s fully Pedal Powered for Global Circumnavigation. Fun Boat.. or, it will be. Boat #2 is almost water- ready with it’s new Pedal Drive.. so testing waterage is on the horizon.

Anyhow… Kadence was a great gal to work with. Sadly, she’s focussing on her schoolwork (which is only sad for lack of sessions.. it’s a great idea IMHO).. but you can catch her now with my Kestrel.. right here (link valid for registered and signed- in site members).
