I am passionate about fine art nude photography! Have been since day one, so long ago shortly after arriving in Kelowna..

My Origins(ish)
I was living in a loft warehouse.. well, not really a warehouse. While it was in the industrial zone and half the space was a photo studio, the area I was in was immaculately cleaned twice a week (YAY! Scheduled Chores with a live- in landlord!!).. couldn’t make a mess.. not that I did mess things up a lot but I do like to live in a space and if it has to be immaculately cleaned, it ain’t ever lived in! Like.. Museum Rooms, not living rooms.

anyhow..
I had found out about this cool race- EcoChallenge- that was being put on by this guy named “Mark Burnet..” so, I did my research (pre- google actual research) and started claling him suggesting I create a sculpture for his awards. My sculpture idea was a half clamshell design with the front/ protruding face being an artistic reinterpretation of the female torso and, if turned to see the concave side, you would see a male torso carvedd in to it. The overall idea would have the original held by the race office and, similar to the Stanley Cup, the base would grow with each successive winners circle. The winners would also get reproductions in different metals/ materials that they could take home. 

A friend of mine overheard me talking to someone else about the sculpture and volunteered to pose for reference images.. and so, she came over to the studio space and posed, nude, for my camera. My first ever nude session. Well, topless I guess. 

This goes back to.. about 1995 or 1996.. since I met my wife in 1997 😉

Anyhow- through the years I’ve wanted to “give back” to the community. This is a little bit of me giving back- creating a DIRECTORY for y’all. What info will be in the directory? What do I wanna share?

• I want to list YOU and where you can be found.. with some samples of images.
• I also wanna list RENTABLE spaces- if you rent out your studio/ space
• I’d also like to work towards listing travel plans and stuff.
