Tech Sure is titled as a play on the word Texture and consists of textural juxstapositions with the contiguous visual element being the vagina. This is a book I am, personally, working on but I am interested in extending this concept to include other artists with similar work.. for a volume of similar title and content orientation. It is my hope to work with ten (10) artists who will be given 1/10th the total page count (i.e.: If the volume has 200 pages, select artists would be provided with 20 pages).
The Altphotoart Annual is an exhibition of the finest work from the previous year. Contrary to the Yearbook, this is FEATURE placements. Similar to TechSure, above, each artist exhibited will be given 1/12th of the overall page count.. so~ again by example~ if you are selected and the goal is 192 printed pages, you would be given 16 pages (foreward/ end notes and other *mechanical* pages are not included in estimates).
Compensation
Compensation for feature volume inclusion is based on your share of the total exhibitional space taken up. If YOUR OWN volume gets you 25% of the wholesale value.. Featured volumes would result in shares of that 25% .. ideally, all exhibited artists will be given the same spacial allowances so percentages are equal- or, if there are 10 artists, your share would be 1/10th of 25%.. if 12 artists.. you would get 1/12th of 25% (2.5% and 2.08%, respectively). The benefit of Featured Book Inclusion is an increase in sales oportunities through bookstores and the other artists~ think of it as viral marketing.. we, all, help each other to make more sales!
